i just saw Life is Beautiful. it made me think of the things i take for granted, and the things i take with a grain of salt, and the things i take too eagerly.

i can breathe easily because of the sins of my fathers. there's a raging gasping struggle for peace in the world, and i sit idly by. just yesterday i was defending my own apathetic indifference. i'm sick of it. i'm sick of reaping the benefits.

my greatest fear is glancing into the mirror to find a person i don't want to know.

Lord God, let my life be a prayer for you. show me how to live.
